RUBBER FIRE SWATTER 

A beater is used to extinguish small fires in rural areas such as heaths. It features a long handle and either a large rubber plate or nine flat, overlapping spring steel slats with a conical sleeve, allowing firefighters to keep a safe distance from the fire.
